Cohiba Maduro (Spanish for “mature”) is characterized by the unusually dark color of the wrapper, which is the result of extended fermentation. Furthermore, the wrapper is aged for a minimum of five years before rolling, while the other leaves (binder and filler) are aged for a minimum of three years.
