The Hoyo de Monterrey Rio Seco was released by Habanos SA in late 2018. The second entry in the Le Hoyo series, representing large-ring cigars. Like all Hoyo de Monterrey cigars, the Rio Seco is characterized by its low strength and well-balanced flavor, rich in herbal and cedar aromas. All the leaves that make up the filler in this cigar come from the renowned Hoyo de Monterrey plantation in the city of San Juan y Martinez (Vuelta Abajo zone). An ideal choice for all fans of delicate, large-format cigars, the Hoyo de Monterrey San Juan is rolled entirely by hand (totalmente a mano) using whole leaf tobacco (tripa larga).
